Into Nature for a Relaxed School Trip 

In 2026, a visit to a forest adapted for children’s free play is offered from mid-April to the end of June. Intended for groups from the first stage of primary schools and for kindergartens.

The “forest playground” and the return trip back to the Farm at Pipkovi are provided by a “tractor taxi” along the fields.

The forest features a specially adapted clearing with a “maze” for running between the trees. In the forest area there are also elements made from modified spruce logs, where children can enjoy free movement and fun in nature.

Children experience the forest with all their senses, can learn to recognize basic tree species, their leaves and fruits, and through play and interaction with natural materials can develop their imagination in the forest’s natural environment. The program is based on the principles of forest pedagogy.

Each school group will have the chance to plant its own tree in the “forest garden”. Children can take part in restoring the forest after the bark beetle calamity – together we will create a new forest 😊.

In case of bad weather, it is possible to warm up by the fire.

It is believed that time spent at the “forest playground” will be enjoyable and that nature will provide new energy.

For primary school grades 1–5, a morning school trip to the “forest playground” is available. The program includes activities focused on exploring the forest and roasting “snakes” over the fire. The price is CZK 150 per pupil, accompanying teachers are free of charge.

For kindergartens, a morning program is offered, usually from about 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. The price is CZK 120 per child, and admission for accompanying teachers is free.

Participant requirements: 

Suitable clothing and footwear for being outdoors in nature in any weather. 

In case of very bad weather, the agreed trip can be cancelled.

It is also possible to arrive by train. The Nová Ves u Leštiny stop is 200 m from the farm.
